Digital Caravel is the specialist practice of João Filipe Ferreira — built on 10+ years of hands-on SEO and digital marketing across tourism, legal, healthcare, real estate, accounting and SaaS, and five years of AI-first workflows.
I have spent the last 10+ years inside the search ecosystem — starting in performance data teams, moving into agency SEO, and spending three years on the off-page and local side of an international player serving expats and investors relocating to Portugal.
For the last five years I have been running AI-first SEO workflows — integrating LLMs, automation, and AI-assisted content production into a single, measurable operating system — well before the current hype cycle made it obvious.
And crucially: we do not only ship client work. A large part of what makes Digital Caravel different is that we run our own portfolio of niche projects — which is where the framework gets stress-tested before any client ever sees it.

The results you see on the Results page are all from real engagements — tourism operators in Madeira, law firms and healthcare clinics in the US, real estate agencies and accounting tools in Portugal, and a portfolio of our own content sites.
Client names are anonymised by sector to respect NDAs, non-compete agreements, and the reality that many of these businesses prefer not to advertise that their organic growth came from an outside specialist. The metrics themselves come directly from Google Search Console.
